Wattle Blue
There are a few floral icons that I can call Australian, wattle being one of them. This painting has been done in a slight impressionistic style and applied in the impasto technique; the colours are lively, rich and glossy and seem to jump off the canvas. Over time I intend to do more native floras to add to the collection.
